This pattern is inspired by Buchaechum, a Korean fan dance known to be one of the most popular traditional dances in Korea, performed by a group of female dancers wearing a Hanbok, a Korean traditional dress. The dancers create natural shapes of flowers, butterflies, blossoming trees, and waves using peony-colored fans.
This is my take on modern hanbok that still carries the traditional elements but is updated to fit the current trends and style so that it’s more wearable in real life and in the metaverse.
